animation of a green aurora being rapidly covered by clouds
We saw a few minutes of aurora last night before the clouds covered it! It was a tough night for auroras - the moon was only two nights past full, and there was heavy ocean-haze, but it was pretty great anyway. :) [personal profile] juli  shot this amazing animation.
