I'm not sure I'll ever again feel as much instant kinship with anyone as I do with "Ryan T," who joined
juli and I to watch a pale greenish meteor explode over the Pacific Ocean in the wee hours of a clear morning in early August. Insomniacs Watching A Burning Space Rock Together is a way better sense of belonging and connection than I've ever gotten from any cultural, vocational, internet, or political groups of which I am a member. Whee!
